    Mind & Body Connection 5K by Mental Health America of the Palm Beaches.

    On Saturday, April 29th in Dreher Park, West Palm Beach at 7:30 am. This is a race for runners and walkers of all ages

    Maternal Mental Health Training hosted by Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies. 

    Join them for a special presentation about mental health issues related to pregnancy and postpartum. This training will benefit students, physicians, nurses, pregnancy care providers, mental health professionals, case managers, and any other professionals who support perinatal women.

    Hey Sistas Mental Health Awareness Event on May 20th.

    “Hey Sistas” is a women’s support group for women of color to focus on health, wellness, and mental health awareness. The group will participate in fitness activities, as well as hear from expert guest speakers on health-related topics. 205 N Federal Highway, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460.

    NAMI Walk for Mental Health Awareness in Stuart.

    Take part in a mile-long walk along the Riverwalk of Downtown Stuart to raise funds and awareness for our local organization. Bring the whole family and your pets to support this wonderful cause. Your $35 registration fee includes a T-Shirt and a 1 Year Membership to NAMI Martin County.

    Express Yourself Fashion Art Ball 2.0 in Delray Beach.

    This year’s event will be the signature event for the county-wide Get Your Green Campaign which aims to raise awareness by creating visible support and fostering safe spaces to talk openly about mental health and trauma. Attendees can look forward to special performances from Palm Beach County talent, special giveaways, and a live DJ for dancing.     Didactic Trainings provided by Palm Beach County Youth Services.

    The mission of PBC Youth Services is “Growing brighter futures by providing quality service, education, and access to resources and opportunities.” They are providing a variety of trainings on topics such as psychopharmacology in child and adolescent mental health care, adolescent substance abuse, supporting a grieving child, and more.

    ArtServe’s “Wellness Exhibition: Fostering Mental and Emotional Health, An Artist’s Journey Through Healing”. 

    For mental health awareness month, ArtServe is hosting this exhibit of mental health-themed art which runs from April 21st through June 16th. Per ArtServe’s executive director, “It’s long been known in medical circles that art is a highly effective form of therapy that encourages non-verbal communication and healing when people are often unable to speak for whatever the reason.” ArtServe is located at 1350 E.
