Amber Zalman, LCSW, MS
Amber is a licensed clinical social worker who is a trauma specialist and published educator based in South Florida. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, empowering you as the expert on your own life while also providing support, accountability, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide your healing and personal growth.
Since 2018, she has specialized in trauma focused therapy for adults and teens, in diverse settings, including private outpatient offices, domestic violence shelters, and dual diagnosis/substance abuse treatment programs. Her services include crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and mental health counseling for individuals navigating PTSD, abuse, attachment issues, personality disorders, substance use disorders, process addictions, and relationship challenges.
Beyond therapy, she has led workshops and corporate training programs focused on effective communication, conflict resolution, and boundary setting. Amber also co-developed a five-week trauma-specific group therapy program and contributed to research at the University of Miami as a former research therapist.
